Joe has taught golf
for over 12+ years in Minnesota, Florida, and Scottsdale
Arizona. His goal with each student is to teach him or her to understand their
own swing so they may advance to the next level. All lesson include range
balls, drills, training aids, and digital video analysis.
“It is my belief that the Camera is the only way to see your positions
during the golf swing and Training Aids are the only way to make a
swing change. Feel is not real and the camera never lies”

Meet Joe Park
I don't have enough room in this publication to write the
whole story of Joe Park, so I'll share bits and pieces. Joe didn't touch a
golf club until he was in his mid-twenties. He didn't take his first step
until he was four. He has no parents and no family. His family is his loyal
group of golfers who seek his help at the Country Air Driving Range and Golf
Center located just north of 1-94 on county road 17. I could tell in the
fifteen minutes I spent with Joe that he has a special relationship with
those who visit his golf facility. Joe was orphaned in Korea and eventually
adopted. He left home when he was 16 and has been on his own since. He has
since married and has two boys Bobby and Joey ages 6 and 8. They have been
swinging at the golf ball since age 1! In his mid-twenties Joe was invited
to play a 9 hole round of golf. He played two nine hole rounds and shot 110.
Four months later he shot 79. But that wasn't good enough. He wanted to be a
pro. He began looking outside the Twin Cities area and through persistence
hooked up with a PGA Teaching Pro who helped pros make it through Q-School
and who worked with some of the better players on the LPGA and PGA
Tours. Initially he told Joe "No, you don't belong here". But Joe insisted he
was ready, so the journey began. At 6:00 a.m. it was a grueling physical
workout at Gold's Gym and then he would hit 2,000 balls a day. He was
improving. He then had the fortune of working under one of the top 50
teaching pros in the game today, Mike Bender. Bender is a disciple of Mac
O'Grady. After working with Mike Bender, Joe had some sound teaching
principles in place and is busy putting those principles to work at Country
Air. If you are serious about improving your game, Joe Park's Country Air
teaching facility is probably the finest in the Twin Cities. Joe recently
took steps in establishing Country Air as an exclusive
MEGSA certified
teaching center. MEGSA stands for Most Efficient Golf
Swing Attainable. PGA
Tour winner and Nationwide Tour Player of the Year
Zach Johnson is just one
of MEGSA success stories. The
MEGSA
perfect practice equipment is designed
to give the golfer a perfect set up position every time plus groove a swing
that stays on plane through feel and muscle memory. But even beyond the
technology, Joe Park's enthusiasm for the game of golf and for teaching the
game right will insure that golfers in the east metro become better players.
Visit with Joe and you will be convinced that 20 years of slicing or hooking
the golf ball can be fixed with Joe's teaching methods. Be prepared to wait
for an appointment, he's booked for three week's solid!
NOTES: Country Air also features a 1,042 yard executive 18
hole golf course, all you need is a wedge and putter. Joe worked along side
his crew of 15, shovel in hand to build an entertaining golf course that is
perfect for adults and kids to learn the game of golf.
The First Challenge in fixing a golf swing is to
find the cause with a video camera.
The golf swing happens so fast that we need a
way to slow it down so we can see what is causing our inconsistencies or our
lack of distance. Feel is not always real
that is why you need to see it on camera. There are many causes that make the
golf ball go right or left.
The Second Challenge is how do we make your muscles
understand to make a permanent change?
The video camera can slow down the swing to
show the cause and effect of your swing. The next problem is how do we give you
the new feel for the changes that you need to make? Training aids work great
because you can get instant feed back to know if your doing something right or
wrong. The problem with most golfers is that they have more than one issue at a
time that needs to be fixed. That means you need more than one training aid at a
time.
MEGSA Perfect Practice Equipment is the most
comprehensive training equipment available today. It can improve the way
students are taught and practice. Any instructor regardless of their teaching
philosophy can use the equipment. The equipment, with fifteen separate teaching
stations, will allow a student to learn the golf swing from one location. By
remaining in one location you will save time and learn more efficiently. The
MEGSA Equipment will assist you in developing your golf swing and provide an
opportunity for you to practice correctly each time you use it.

Hi Joe!
I just wanted to thank you so much for helping me improve my golf
game. I like the fact that you never laughed at my goal to go from a
110-120 round down to scratch. I have only been
golfing for two years and I appreciate that you have
always had a "let's do it" attitude. The year when I started playing, you helped me break 100
with only 2 lessons. This year is the first year that
we really put in a lot of time. I got fitted with some new clubs, that
I love, I had some lessons ( including an on course lesson) and
we went to work.
This season I won my first tournament, drooped my handicap to 16
and yesterday, 10/27/06, I shot a 78! My goal this
year was to break 80 and we did it!
I am so excited with the evolution of my game and a can't wait until
you start your new training program.
So count me in, you lead and I'll follow!

Joe, I just had to tell you about the
results of the lessons and tips over the winter. Mary and I spent last
week in Birmingham, Alabama playing 3 different Robert Trent Jones Trail
sites. Just for background, in my golfing history, it is rare for me
to break 80 on a spring golf vacation. It takes a few weeks for me to
put all the pieces together, and get it all working.
I spent the whole winter working on what you showed me, and I pretty much
hit just my irons during the winter. My iron shots were better then I
have ever played in my life. Total confidence over every iron swing.
The point is, I figured the
lessons were going to make a difference. I had no idea it
would make that much difference. Thanks for the help, and
assume I will be back for more with at least two things: the driver,
and green side bunker play.
Have a great day.

Hi Joe !
This is Roger Bogotty. I had a lesson there on
Wednesday THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
What a difference it made in my game. With future instruction I
just might become a golfer and not just a golf companion to a foursome.
My distance on all clubs has increased significantly. Driver is straight for the most part. Irons & fairway woods are straight too.
Thanks Joe! I' am a happy man.
See you soon.

"Joe,
Just wanted to thank you for all
the effort you've put into my golf swing and my short game. I started 2003 with
a 20 handicap and by the
end of 2003 I was at 8. My goal is to be a scratch player by the end of 2004
which is realistic with your help. I now realize the impossibility of
becoming a good player without instruction.
I thought by hitting thousands of
balls I would naturally get better. All I managed to do was groove a lot of bad
positions and thoughts. Hitting thousands of golf balls at the driving range
without instruction was a waste of time. I didn't want to change my golf swing
initially because I thought I was pretty good. What I didn't realize was I had
the same swing everyone else
had, unreliable, unrepeatable, unpredictable, junk. The only way to improve
dramatically is to get lessons and not give up after the first one.
With your extensive knowledge of the game, you can help make any golfer out
there as good as they want to be. I will see you spring of 2004. Thanks, I don't
have to worry anymore about how I will play today."

"Joe, I just wanted to thank you for your help in improving my game. I began
golfing in the summer of 2004. I fell in love with the sport but my scores,
like my technique, were terrible. I took a couple of lessons with you during
the winter months, and what an improvement! I golfed more than 70 times in
2005, and my scores decreased by more than 15 strokes per round. I can't tell
you how much more enjoyable the game has become. I recommend you to all of my
friends. Thanks again."

"Joe,
After these first couple lessons I have been able to incorporate your changes
into my routine and consistently hit the ball where I want to hit it. It is a
phenomenal confidence boost to be able to address the ball and know how far I am
going to hit it and where. I can't thank you enough.

"Dear Joe,
At the Ripe young age of 60 and due to the urging of my children, I took up the
game of Golf. Having no time to lose, I wanted to take some lessons and learn
the proper technique before I developed bad habits. Needless to say, I needed a
teacher. But Who?
It was while at your driving
range one day that I asked you how I should hold my hands on the driver. To my
surprise, you took about 20 minutes of your time helping me perfect my swing.
It was then that I knew that you
really cared about helping people play better and consequently enjoy the game of
Golf more! Immediately, I signed up for some lessons with you. It was the best
thing I ever did.
While I am still a novice at
Golf, I am not playing like one.
Thank You Joe,"

"Dear Joe,
I was at the end of a long and
frustrating golf season and considered saying the hell with golf. Something was
wrong with my swing that I and others could not figure out. While hitting balls
with a golfing friend, he mentioned that a guy named Joe knew an awful lot about
the golf swing.
I decided to book one with Joe
and it would maybe be the last one with golf lesson trail. Joe had me warm up
hitting balls, and we talked a bit. He watched me hit about 10 minutes and then
demonstrated how a golf club face should work through the swing. he changed my
grip, so the club could open and close thru the swing.
For the first time in 30 years of
golf - I understand that the club face must open before you can close it thru
the ball. Joe has jump started my game and interest back to where I watch the
ball flight, and wondered why I couldn't have done that 30 years ago.
Thanks Joe, now we can work on my
short game.
Sincerely,"
Bob Bloom - White Bear Lake

"Joe,
New clubs were the best
advice I've ever received in the sport! 30+ yards on every shot and they are
so forgiving that I almost feel like I'm cheating.
Thanks a million,"

I had a wonderful experience with Joe Park.
In just five lessons from Joe over the course of a summer I was able to
transform my golf game. Joe was able to help me drastically improve my
driving, long irons, chipping, and putting. Joe is a patient,
intelligent, and insightful instructor. I am very glad that I
invested in golf lessons last summer.

Hi Joe and Nicole:
I wanted to thank Joe for the awesome
lesson on Wednesday. You improved my short game 150% in just
one lesson. It was so fun there tonight by myself, I just
got better and better as the night went on. I shot over the water,
out of sand traps and onto the green. I can't thank you
enough. Thanks also to Nicole - love your sweet personality.
